Regular readers of the blog will know I hadn’t done much feeder fishing for years but then I fished Bob’s match two years ago which was rod only and since then I’ve been doing a bit and really enjoying it. The trouble is, it means having to buy even more kit! I ordered lots of bits and pieces including some feeder links from a very well known brand, they looked the business but I was hugely disappointed when I used one for the first time and the quick change swivel broke! The second one broke on my next outing and that was enough of that! I wasn’t even going to bother going for the hat trick!
Somebody mentioned that Dean Barlow makes feeder links so I contacted him via Facebook and ordered 10 feeder links (5 x 4 inch and 5 x 2 inch) for £15 via Paypal. Dean said he was away at the weekend (feeder fishing of course!) but would get them out to me the following week. They arrived in good time and they looked spot on with quality components. Obviously there’s a limit to how much you can write in a review of feeder links but I’ve used one several times and it’s still as good as new which is a vast improvement on the ones I bought previously!
I ordered 2 inch and 4 inch but Dean will make them any length you want
